I’m a Vancouver-based technology leader and consultant who specializes in making complex systems feel clear, grounded, and workable.

Over the past two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of architecture, reliability, and organizational scale — helping teams build systems they can trust. I’ve served as Director of Engineering at Shopify and previously as VP of Software Development at Hootsuite, where my focus was platform foundations, developer experience, and scaling teams and systems responsibly.

Today, I work directly with owners and senior leaders on high-stakes technical decisions — bringing calm, candid judgment to moments where uncertainty is expensive and clarity matters..
